Second Site

Most of us continued to the second site when we were done, just down the road from the first. This site had taller cuts with more strata exposed.

The best find at the second site was this great curved cephalopod. It's a very nice specimen.

Plenty of straight-shelled Nautiloids were also found at the second site.

Crinoids

At the second site, someone found a crinoid holdfast of the type Lichenocrinus.

Trilobites

Only fragments of trilobites were found at both sites. Here is a nice pygidium of the large trilobite Isotelus.
