For the 75th Anniversary meeting of the Dry Dredgers, we pulled out all the stops. The meeting was well promoted. We invited many members and officers of the past, professionals who have helped us and others who have a special connection with our venerable group. I personally have heard or read acclaims that the Dry Dredgers are "top notch" or the "gold standard" of fossil clubs. That's a reason to celebrate.
At the last meeting (March 2017), we set a record for meeting attendance with 88 people. For our April Anniversary meeting, we had 115 attending! We needed a bigger room so we took the classroom upstairs.
