The November meeting was held a week early due to Thanksgiving. We had a severe parking problem due to a UC football game that night. The members that did find parking, however, were treated to an exceptionally great presentation by the UC Geology department on their recent trip to China for the International Paleontology Congress.
We actually saw six mini-presentations, from each of the UC attendees of the conference. Each talk gave a separate unique perspective of the trip to China and Japan, the conference, fossil field trips, special Paleo Projects in the works and exceptional photo journalism. It was wonderful. Thanks to all of you! We enjoyed it immensely.
Here are some picture of the talk, taken by Ron Fine.

Brad Deline also brought Ron Fine's Bryozoan ball encrusted with Anamolocrinus
holdfasts. Brad had cut the ball in half to find that the crinoid holdfasts had
encrusted the Bryozoan at various times in its growth.
After the feature presentation was time for show-and-tell. Keegan brought in his
volcano diorama (shown below)

Refreshments were also served, including these excellent trilobite cookies.
